What more can you do for your patients with
heart failure?
According to the NIH, approximately 5 million Americans have heart failure.
An additional 400,000 to 700,000 cases are diagnosed each year1. The
number of deaths related to HF has more than doubled since 19791.
Paracor Medical, Inc. has commenced a randomized, prospective, multi-center
research trial to evaluate a potential advance in the treatment of HF.
The HeartNet™ Ventricular Support System is an elastic wrap that
is designed to apply gentle mechanical support to the failing heart.
The implant is a highly compliant mesh-like device that is designed to
conform to the epicardial surface of the right and left ventricles. It
supports the heart throughout the cardiac cycle and is designed to offload
the ventricles, reduce wall stress and improve ventricular mechanics.
